Absolutely lovely. Incredibly tasty breakfast. Friendly atmosphere. Warm and helpful staff. I was on my own but didn't feel like it. Enjoyed listening to the friendly cockney banter around me. I was even given a delicious comlplementary bread pudding to take away. I want to go back already! 😊
Even though the place was rammed, the staff were wonderful, and said they’d find us a table as quickly as possible, which they did within 5 minutes. People were queuing up behind us as well which was a good sign. We were served within a few minutes and got our food within 10 minutes. The food was lovely, really delicious, and big portions. The service however was second to none!!!! The staff were super lovely, really friendly, made some great jokes and banter and chatted with everyone at every table and really made you feel like you were a part of the community. It was a little snapshot of how the east end is in a small cafe. I’ve never felt like this anywhere else. It was truly a fabulous experience. My husband and I left buzzing and with huge smiles on our faces. Wonderful place! Truly unique 😁😂😁😂😁😂
Best English Breakfast we ever had. Quality of food was good.
Black Pudding was not that great, but otherwise all the items were freshly made and yummy.
Only cash is accepted for payment.
The place is generally busy, visiting early is better
One of the best breakfast place in London. It's a cozy, family-run business, and the best part of it are its people. You will be greeted by a warm welcome and will see customers having good conversations over a hearty meal and/or a cup of coffee. Our most recent stay in London was for a month and we visited the place thrice! Thank you for an awesome experience!
The food was super delicious but service was outstanding. Even when having to wait in the entrance for a while (yes, the place is famous!) they treated us like old time customers and made us feel welcomed.
I feel a need to come back to try all the menu tho, everything looked delicious!
But bring cash! We needed to go to the nearest ATM as we didn’t have enough.
