They say that Britain will fall if the Ravens are lost but I think losing places like E Pellicci are the real threats. The food is fantastic -- cooked with love, care, and precision by the same family since it opened and passed down over the generations. Fresh ingredients, scratch cooked to perfection. It is truly mother's home cooking.
But E Pellicci is more than just a restaurant, it's an institution. A glue that holds Bethnal Green together. The owners have built their business and their family in the area and they are a core part of the fabric that is East London. They know their regulars, they know their neighbors, and they are a positive part of the community. I love how they will tell you about local ingredients, where they came from, and where to find them.
I don't get to London often, but my in-laws live right by E Pellicci's, and it always warms my heart to see the shop and the owners. They've provided amazing food over all these years and always presented it with kindness, compassion, and a smile.
God save the Queen. And God save E Pellicci.
I consider E Pellicci, one of the best cafe in the area, if not London! Lovely people, great hearty food with a lot classic and modern of options, and great pricing.
Myself and my employees meet here almost every morning for breakfast, and will also come by for lunch if we're local!

Recommended by tripadvisor and boy did they get it right! Very packed and cozy the staff was SUPER attentive and kind. I was there solo and they sat me with people. Made me feel like I was a regular. I hope to come back !!
The place is very popular now, too popular, normally this means the quality will go down. But this place still kept the same taste and portion size, ingredient quality as before. Well done! Any one who haven’t been before should go. The only thing that puts me off is the long queue, other wise I will take all my visitors to try the full English, which I think is the best in London. Oh is not just the full English that’s great, the pies and chicken escalope are great too!
Lovely staff, so friendly and helpful.
The cafe was closed when we were visiting from Birmingham but they kindly let us in to see where they filmed Legend & where the Kray twins used to sit. Thank you so much.
