This place made my heart warm and my stomach happy! The food was delicious. The pesto is the best I ever had in my life. We went our first day there by luck. Every bite I had it was a dose of serotonin, pure happiness. So we had to come back for our last day, and they were remembering us, the lady that served us even gave us a piece of nutela cake. The feeling you get once you get in is like when you go to your family home. A truly amazing experience. Worth the wait. If we go to London again its gonna be the first place we'll revisit!!

E. Pellicci in Bethnal Green is an absolute gem of a place. We’d been to a popular café in the Borough area a couple of times before, but after trying Pellicci, it’s easily our new favourite. The food is just better—properly cooked, hot, and bursting with flavour—and the atmosphere feels so much more real and full of life.

It’s like getting a classic full English breakfast along with a front-row seat to proper East London characters in action! The regulars are all larger-than-life, totally themselves, bantering with the staff and each other. It honestly feels like the beating heart of the old East End is still pumping strong right here in this café.

All the meats were cooked perfectly, everything arrived piping hot and delicious. Real traditional British grub, handed down through generations of this brilliant Italian family who’s been running the place for ages. It’s just amazing. We went for “The Lot” full breakfast, and it was everything we hoped for and more!

Great caff for a full english breakfast. I would recommend coming as early as possible, as a queue form quickly and there is no booking system. great banter from staff, vibrant atmosphere. I was a bit sad that the lovely art deco paneling was hidden under the merch, but there are bits where you can still see bits of it. Would recommend getting The full with someone to share, as it is indeed a very full plate. I would love to come back and try the Italian options on the menu.

Huge English breakfasts in a cozy, family run place with the sweetest and friendliest team. Portions were enormous and the food is obviously made with love. Came on a Saturday, one of their most busy days at 10am and only waited a short while before being seated. It was my sister’s birthday and they sang her a song, what a delightful touch. The place is tight and nothing fancy about it but you will leave with all smiles. Highly recommend, what an experience!

I’ve been here twice now, and both times were great! The portions are huge. The big breakfast is no joke. The food is delicious, and the service is amazing. The pesto was so good that my friend even got one to take away. I haven’t tried any of their desserts yet, but I’ll definitely be back to give them a go!

Side note: They only accept cash so don't forget to bring some cash with you!
