Great food, an excellent Full English.
Price reasonable, especially for London - about £15 for a breakfast with tea.
The homemade bubble and squeak was particularly good.
Love the family atmosphere inside, excellent service.

Only downside was the long wait (I got there at 10, and waited around 30mins, by the time I left the queue was about 4 times as long)
If you get here early and beat the queues, a great spot for breakfast.
Otherwise, you're better off at a different cafe (there are many on the same road)

A Family Affair at E Pellicci's!

In the heart of Bethnal Green, E Pellicci's Cafe stands as a testament to the power of family, community, and delicious food. The minute you walk in you're enveloped by its stunning Art Deco interior, crafted by the skilled hands of Achille Capocci in 1946. Run by the charismatic Nevio, Anna, Rosa and their wonderful team, is more than just a place to eat—it's a home away from home. As soon as you step through the door, you're enveloped by the warm, lively atmosphere and the infectious banter that makes everyone feel like part of the family.

The food at E Pellicci's is a true reflection of their Italian heritage, all made from scratch, with generous portions and a variety of delicious dishes, from their famous breakfasts to their Italian specials, every bite is a taste of history and love. And it's not just about the food; the Pelliccis are known for their generosity, often surprising guests with delightful freebies!

In just a couple of hours, you can feel like you've become part of the Pellicci family! It's a place where strangers become friends over a plate of pasta or a cup of coffee, and where the community spirit is palpable.

E Pellicci's is a beacon of tradition in a rapidly changing world, a reminder that sometimes the best experiences come from the simplest, most genuine places. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking to taste the real heart of East London!! "Cherry Bomb" will see you very soon!! xxx

Lives up to the hype! Went on Saturday morning around 1030am, waited less than 20 minutes to get in. Can get breakfast or the pasta, we did both. Huge portions, everything was delicious! Make sure you get some home made pesto, can also get some to take away! CASH ONLY (but maybe Monzo would work in hindsight?) There is an ATM across the street. The staff is hilarious and so welcoming and accommodating, feels like you’re at home with your big Italian family.
Highly recommend.

Still a homely place for locals as we were the only out-of-town peeps there at opening time but then again, it's not the tourist season in the middle of this cold January month.

Family run and all of them were hospitable and friendly. Ned will make the effort to talk to everyone.

He let us tried his homemade pesto, which was simply lovely. We will make sure to try the pasta dishes next. We were even given a complimentary side of homemade apple pie. That was so sweet of them.

An absolute East End classic! The quality of the food is incredible. Warm, friendly service that makes you feel like family, and a buzzing atmosphere fill of history! The portion sizes are beyond generous, good coffee and a proper old-school charm. A must-visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
